Flood Impact Information--Please Help Us!

We are always looking to provide the latest information regarding flood impacts at various forecast points along area waterways. By 'impacts' we are referring to water affecting infrastructure during flooding. Some typical examples would be water over roads or bridges, water into buildings, significant agricultural flooding, levees breached, etc. Sometimes flood impacts can change due to development, flood mitigation, etc.

You can find existing and known impacts on our National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) website.  Click on a point of interest for additional information, and then select the 'Full Information >' link to access known impacts. The impacts can then be found along the left hand side of the page below the graph.

If you notice issues regarding our flood impact information--such as impact information that could be new, updated, corrected or removed--then please use this flood impact feedback form.  You may also contact us via email or phone using the contact information at the bottom of this page.  Thank you for your help!
