Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 12.5 - Water may begin to flow over Highway 789 south of the Riverton Bridge. Continuous monitoring and/or repair of levees and berms is necessary. The river may overtake and overflow irrigation canals upstream of Riverton.
  • 12 - Flood waters continue to invade low lying areas west of Highway 789. Highway 789 may be sand leveed by wydot on the south side of the river. Widespread and very extensive agricultural flooding downstream of Riverton near the Black Bridge and Hidden Valley area. Need to monitor closely irrigation canals upstream of Riverton for possibe overflow problems.
  • 11 - Major flooding of homes along the right bank. Water begins to encroach low lying areas west of Highway 789.
