Flood Impacts
- 13 - Disastrous flooding similar to Hurricane Floyd. Widespread and severe residential flooding as water inundates most of the land south of Vanceboro. Water inundates West Craven High School.
- 10 - Widespread flooding south of Vanceboro. Most of Streets Ferry Road is underwater and many homes along it are inundated. Water backs up small streams and inundate homes on Piney Neck Road and State Camp Road. Water surrounds West Craven High School.
- 8 - Most roads in the area are impassable, with several homes inundated along the creek and its tributaries. Water backs up into smaller tributaries and floods some homes on Piney Neck Road and Cow Pen Landing Road.
