National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 27.4 - The top of the levee near the Fairacres Road would be overtopped causing the town of Scribner to flood.
- 23.5 - Water begins to impact the bottom of the bridge on County Road 12.
- 23 - Widespread flooding affects much of the agricultural community in the vicinity of the creek. This water level also will likely require the closure of the flood gate at Highway 275.
- 21 - County roads and considerable farmlands flood in the vicinity of the reach of Pebble Creek which runs from Monterey in Cuming county downstream to Scribner at the confluence with the Elkhorn River.
- 18 - Rural pastures and farmlands will flood.
