National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 22 - Flood inundation near the FEMA 0.2 percent flood hazard level. This is a serious and potentially life threatening flood situation, near or exceeding flood levels seen during the historic 1987 Flood.
- 19 - In Guilford, Route 6 is inaccessible in multiple locations in the east and western parts of town. Properties on the eastern end of River Street flooded in Dover-Foxcroft.
- 18 - Flood inundation near the FEMA 1 percent flood hazard level. Travel in and out of the area is difficult.
