Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 20.3 - Widespread and devastating flooding occurred throughout Chenango Bridge, Port Crane, Dickinson and northern sections of the City of Binghamton along the Chenango River. Interstate 81 would become impassable between Exits 5 and 6.
  • 18 - Widespread and catastrophic flooding increases in homes and businesses on Chenango Bridge Road, River Road, and Upper Front Street down to the Binghamton flood wall protection area.
  • 14.9 - Flood of Sepember 2011. Widespread severe flooding of homes and businesses from the Route 79 bridge at Chenango Forks to the City of Binghamton confluence. Parts of Interstate 88 between Exits 1 and 2 become flooded and impassable. Upper Front Street and Route 11 closed due to flooding.
