Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 25.02 - June 2006 catastrophic flooding. Towns of Conklin and Kirkwood were inudated between Route 11 and Route 7 from the City of Binghamton line to the Pennsylvania state line. Hundreds of homes and businesses destroyed or severely damaged. Five feet of water covered Route 7.
  • 23.94 - September 2011 flood stage. Widespread and devastating flooding. Areas between Kirkwood Avenue and Conklin Road from the Binghamton city line to the Pennsyvania state line are severely impacted by deep floodwaters.
  • 20 - Major flood stage. Severe flooding of roads, residential and business areas in Conklin, Conklin Center and Kirkwood. Several sections of Route 7 are flooded from the Industrial Parkway to the Binghamton city line.
