Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 27 - Approaching levels seen during the historic flood of 1936. Damage to public, private and commercial properties is significant from Livermore through Topsham, with the hardest hit area in Auburn and Lewiston.
  • 24 - Comparable to the flood level reached in April 1987. Properties severely flooded or are totally isolated for an extended duration between Auburn and Topsham. Large portions of agricultural lands across the Androscoggin Valley are under water.
  • 22 - In Lewiston, 3 feet of water covers portions of Lincoln Street as well as River Street at Oxford Street. In Auburn, water enters businesses off Center Street between Grove Street and Stanley Street.
