National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.

Unique Local Info
Data displayed here is from the MSPF1 backup gage located directly on Manatee Spring about 1/4 mile from the official Manatee Spring forecast point MTSF1. MTSF1 is located directly on the Suwannee River. MSPF1 is used only when MTSF1 is out of service. Crests at MSPF1 lag about one hour and are about 1/4 foot lower than readings at MTSF1 due to upstream attenuation. Otherwise readings should be fairly similar.
